She is the author of There's a Snake in the House, Mayroon Akong Alagang Puno, other piture books and several novels for young adults.  She is also a teacher and a bokstore owner.  She is the proud aunt of Martin, Trixie, Marga, Andrea, and Sabine, and slave to Puff and Fluff, two pretty, hand-fed African lovebirds.
