Klasrum Adarna Summer Workshop: Bookmaking for Kids

In this workshop, kids will make their own books starting with their own story, drawing their own illustrations, and designing their own book cover. This workshop will be facilitated by Annie Lumbao, member of Ang Ilustrador ng Kabataan (Ang InK) and author of But That Won’t Wake Me Up!, winner of the Filipino Readers’ Choice Award for the children’s picture book category!

Araw sa Palengke app, free from the App Store!

The award-winning book, Araw sa Palengke, can now be downloaded for free from the App Store! This is Adarna House’s first app, and we’re happy to bring you one of the books cited as 2010′s Best Reads for Children. The app for this story, written by May Tobias-Papa and illustrated by Isabel Roxas, comes with sorting and cooking games.
