One of Adarna House's original artists, he is regarded as one of the foremost Filipino chidlren's book illustrators. Included in his books are Ang Beybi sa Basket, Jose Rizal, Manik Buangsi, and Ang Pambihirang Buhok ni Lola. He is an honorary member of Ang Ink (Ang Ilustrador ng Kabataan).
