• Library Development

With a wide selection of bilingual reading materials rich in Filipino culture and flavor, we are able to provide support to organizations looking to bring the world of books closer to children across the country.

    Department of Education (DepEd)
The biggest government agency to work with Adarna House in making Filipino children’s book more accessible to public school teachers and students, DepEd’s Library Hubs all over the country include award-winning books from Adarna House.

    ICTSI Foundation
For two years now, ICTSI Foundation — through its Reading Nook project — has been working with Adarna House to provide chosen public elementary schools reading corners for their classrooms, and improve their libraries with local literature for children. The partnership has also brought the Adarna House storytelling workshop to public school teachers in Davao, Cagayan de Oro, Zambales, and Metro Manila.

    Library Renewal Partnership
This program is a concerted effort between Adarna House, Bagong Kulturang Pinoy, Synergeia, Bato Balani Foundation, and private individuals to provide free to use and functional municipal/city libraries with the help of local government units in the Philippines.

    Sa Aklat Sisikat Foundation
An ally of Adarna House in promoting the love and habit of reading in Filipino children, Sa Aklat Sisikat Foundation (SAS) runs a 31-day Reading Program for all Grade 4 students in partner public schools. This program includes Readathons, teacher training sessions, and a donation of carefully selected children’s books for each Grade 4 classroom.
