Art of Questioning A perfect follow-up workshop to Storytelling, this course emphasizes the significance of fun and purposeful discussion as a teaching tool in the classroom.  It discusses the different levels of reading comprehension, and gives tips about how to trigger these levels of understanding in students through the art of questioning.

Creating Teaching Aids A workshop on creating interactive teaching aids using recycled and indigenous materials, this course also discusses the value and functions of visual aids in the classroom. Apart from giving examples of versatile teaching aids, the workshop  provides tips and guidelines in developing safe and age-appropriate recycled educational materials.

Developing Community Reading Programs This workshop shows participants how to better encourage the members of their community to discover the joys of reading. It is a workshop on planning and program development, and identifies the best practices of successful community-based literacy programs. It aims to increase literacy scores and awareness in communities by showing participants how to develop and sustain simple and effective reading programs.

Developing an Information Education Communication (IEC)  Campaign for (Early Childhood Care and Development (ECCD)  This workshop aims to teach ECCD advocates how to engage their community for the benefit of their ECCD program, classroom, and students. It teaches the participants how to develop marketing strategies that will engage  their local governments and citizens  in the  ECCD program for  children in the community.

Lap Reading This course, offered for parents, health workers, and volunteers in charge of children 0 to 3 years of age, teaches participants the values and ways of reading to infants and toddlers. It aims to trigger and develop emergent literacy among children aged 0 to 3 by encouraging adults to engage with them through intimate dialogic reading experiences.

Library Improvement This workshop for librarians and reading center staff shows participants how to better encourage the children in their school or community to discover the joys of reading. It covers topics such as choosing books, distinguishing reading levels, and developing library activities.

Promoting Reading in the School This workshop teaches participants how to mine literary texts for pedagogical values, organize reading programs in the school, and turn the school library into a functional source of knowledge and entertainment. This workshop aims to help schools in raising the interest of students in literature, the library, and reading as a whole.

Storytelling A workshop on the art of oral narration, this focuses on the tools a storyteller can use, and how these tools can be maximized to the storyteller’s advantage. It gives tips on choosing stories, preparing for storytelling sessions, and developing different ways to tell a story. This workshop aims to develop a genuine love for reading among children through storytelling.

Teaching Beginning Reading This two-day workshop tackles the Four-Pronged Approach, a literature-based method of teaching beginning reading. Usina a modular approach, each of the four prongs  is discussed,  then applied by the participants through interesting and practical activities. This workshop aims to teach participants how to apply the Four-Pronged approach in their respective teaching settings.
