Adarna House, in partnership with National Book Store Foundation, organized the Effective Reading Remediation and Intervention Strategies Workshop last February 13, 2026, at Aguho Elementary School in Tanay, Rizal. The workshop empowered educators and community partners to better support young learners in strengthening literacy skills.
Beyond publishing quality children’s books, Adarna House also aims to nurture a lifelong love for reading among Filipino children. By supporting educators with effective strategies and practical tools, we help ensure that every child is given the opportunity to grow, learn, and thrive through reading.
The full-day workshop, focused on practical learning and collaboration, brought together 12 teachers from Aguho Elementary School and 10 employees from MicroSourcing.
Teacher Camille Quiambao facilitated the session and provided participants with hands-on strategies for reading remediation and intervention. She equipped them with practical tools to help learners overcome reading challenges and build confidence in literacy.
