Founded in 1980 by National Artist for Literature, Adarna House began as a collaboration with the Nutrition Center of the Philippines as a "mind-nourishing" initiative to enrich the minds of Filipino children through memorable literary experiences.
For the past 45 years, Adarna House has grown into a vibrant and thriving community of writers, illustrators, educators, researchers, and partners who share a deep commitment to children, education, and love of reading.
At our core, we create meaningful and engaging experiences for Filipino children. Our Product Development team brings together some of the country's finest creative talents to produce books and learning materials that celebrate Filipino values, culture, history, and lived experiences.
What used to be a program to feed young minds has since become a pioneer in children's book publishing in the Philippines—continuing to shape generations of readers and storytellers.
