Adarna House Supports Educators at the 2025 International Conference on Literature Education

Adarna House proudly joined the International Conference on Literature Education (ICLE) as one of its sponsors, continuing our commitment to supporting Filipino educators and promoting a culture of reading and literary appreciation across the country. Organized by the Literature Educators Association of the Philippines (LEAP), the event took place from April 28 to 30, 2025, at Central Luzon State University in Nueva Ecija.

With around 150 attendees–composed mainly of passionate and dedicated teachers from various parts of the Philippines–the conference offered a rich program focused on enhancing the teaching of literature. Highlights included keynote lectures by international experts in literature education, hands-on professional development workshops, and the presentation of research projects that explored emerging trends and challenges in the field.

Through an Adarna House booth during the event, we took the opportunity to connect with educators, listen to their needs, and discuss how our books and programs can help shape meaningful reading experiences for Filipino students.

Our participation in ICLE reflects Adarna House’s belief that literature education is central to nurturing critical thinking, empathy, and cultural awareness. We thank LEAP for organizing this important gathering and look forward to future collaborations that empower teachers and celebrate the transformative power of stories in the classroom.
